Gallery Technician / Art Handler (full time)
To strengthen our team we are looking for a gallery technician / art handler (full time)
Aufgaben u.a.:
- Management of our art warehouse / storage logistics between the internal and external warehouse.
- Packaging, hanging and storage of paintings and sculptures
- Installation of internal exhibitions
- Smaller art transports incl. hanging of works at customers' premises
- planning and organisation of transports at home and abroad
- Planning of exhibition transports at home and abroad / possibly assistance in setting up exhibition stands
Anforderungen:
- Sound knowledge of handling, packing and storing works of art.
- Experience in transport/logistics is helpful
- Knowledge of modern and contemporary art
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- driving licence
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Independence, good appearance and ability to work in a team
