The stylistics of the work and the unconventional support suggest that this unsigned and undated painting is a very early work by the artist, possibly created before she began her art studies in 1921

The work is registered in the archive of Dr Anna-Carola Krausse and will in future be included in the Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings, Drawings and Prints 1910–1937.
