Attends elementary school in Castleford

Enlists in the Civil Service Rifles

Registers at the Sculpture department of Leeds College of Art as their first student.

Wins scholarship for the Royal College of Art, London

Instructor at the RCA Sculpture School

Marriage to Irina Radetsky
