We are very pleased to invite you to our new exhibition "ALEX KATZ. Now! Not in the Future-Not in the Past ".
The Vernissage will take place on June 9 at 7 pm in our rooms on the 1st floor.

The exhibition shows a curated selection of works from 1976 to 2020 by the American artist ALEX KATZ (*1927) and highlights more than 40 years of his work. In addition to printed works on paper, cutouts, printed aluminum cuts and a unique piece in oil on aluminum are presented.
The artist achieved greater recognition from the 1950s onwards for his invention of "Cool Painting", a sober-realistic style, which is characterized in technique and image content by a clear flatness and the reduction to a minimum of color and detail.
