About Hermann Max Pechstein

The expressionist Hermann Max Pechstein was a member of the "Brücke" and co-founder of the Neue Secession in Berlin. Typical for Pechstein are his bright colours, which he sets in an exciting contrast to each other in his paintings as well as in his works on paper.
