There is another drawing of Liebermann‘s granddaughter on the verso. In this drawing Liebermann shows his granddaughter‘s first steps while being aided by the family‘s nanny. This second drawing is closely related to a painting executed in 1919 (Catalogue raisonné by Eberle 1996 no. 1919/26)
