Born on 6th of August in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Andrew Warhola

Studies design at the Carnegy Institute of Technology in Pittsburg Graduates in Painting and Design

Moves to New York, where he works as a commercial artist

First important solo exhibition at Hugo-Gallery in New York entitled „Fifteen Drawings Based on the Writings of Truman Capote“

1956

Group exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, New York

First artistic pictures

Moves into „The Factory“, his studio Produces the first serigraphies Experiments with film and video First exhibition as a Pop Art artist

Feminist activist Valerie Solanis, founder and sole member of SCUM, nearly kills him
