The drawing depicts Walter Gerhardt (Bonn 1886 – 1958 Bonn), biologist, chemist, and brother of Macke’s girlfriend and later wife. On the reverse side are further sketches, the main motive of which is family Gerhardt’s dog named Bobbi that was depicted by Macke several times
